Song of the Day - January 17, 2006

The Dead Science have released another masterpiece with Frost Giant. If you have to label their music, they would probably fall into the art rock genre. They have a sound that combines various influences, one of the strongest being The Cure; however, one can hear hints of Bauhaus, Jeff Buckley, David Bowie, and even Led Zeppelin. On the track "Blood Tuning," I distinctly get the Led Zeppelin Houses of the Holy vibe from the falsetto vocals to the spaced out free jam trilogy of guitars, bass, and drums. Click here to listen.
