Song of the Day - May 3, 2006

The folks leading the intelligent design movement might just ban The Apparitions latest release, As This Is Futuristic, for the track "God Monkey Robot." The Apparitions can be described as a hybrid between The Flaming Lips and The Pixies. The infectious chorus of "First there was God, then came the monkey, then came the robot" will not depart from my brain. It's no matter, as I will happily sing this contagious indie pop gem over and over. Give the song a listen, but if you are in Kansas you better wear headphones. Click here to listen.
