Song of the Day - July 21, 2005

Bottom of the Hudson remind me of XTC, with just a hint of New Order. Their song "December Is Only a Window" is a refreshing musical respite from the heat of summer. I love the acoustic guitars combined with the electric; it makes for a full and rich sound. The song just plain sounds happy, without being sappy or saccharine.
