November 2006 - Songs of the Day

November was a month of contrasts. I started with the young, but exceedingly cool Tiny Masters of Today and finished with The Nightingales, a band that has been in existence for over twenty years. There was the calmness of BenoÎt Pioulard contrasted to the stoner rock of Mammatus. In between their was no lack of excellent tunes from the likes of the Envelopes, Suicidal Birds, Awesome Snakes, Frida Hyvonen, and many others in a wide variety of styles to satisfy the music lovers in all of us.
