Song of the Day - April 28, 2005

Causey Way is described as synth-punk. I would describe them as a cross between DAF and Devo with a little DK's thrown in for good measure, especially on this cut "Geological Lust." They are on Alternative Tentacles, so they definitely are punk. This track starts out with a Devo-like drum beats, followed by the heavy beat of DAF influenced synthesizers. In fact, this track reminds me of a specific DAF song, unfortunately I do not have the record anymore and DAF is sadly not on Rhapsody.
